This class is 20 planned hours and aims to prepare students for a career in substance use disorder treatment services. An introduction to the various types of crises events that Behavioral Health Providers may encounter. The course will offer an introduction of crisis intervention theories and skills and techniques to assist the student in recognizing concepts of crisis management.
