This course will utilize electronic health record software as students learn to apply hands-on skills to document patient care in an ambulatory setting. Students will demonstrate an understanding of electronic health records in ambulatory and physician-based settings by utilizing “EHR Go” EHR software.

- Identify critical information required for scheduling patient procedures
- Identify different types of appointment scheduling methods
- Identify the components of an Electronic Medical Record, Electronic Health Record, and Practice Management System
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record utilizing EHR Go software
