This course is 30 planned hours and prepares students for a career in substance use disorder treatment services. It addresses transdisciplinary foundations established by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment’s (CSAT) Addiction Counseling Competencies (TAP 21).
