This human anatomy and physiology course includes a brief overview of the human body for the non-science major. Basics of chemistry and cell structure are introduced and then the major systems of the human body are emphasized.

- Relate chemistry concepts to the study of the human systems
- Define anatomical terminology
- Describe the basic anatomy and physiology of the respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, excretory, digestive, endocrine and reproductive systems
- Identify the pathologic changes that occur in the respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, excretory, digestive, endocrine and reproductive systems
- Apply anatomical, physiological and biochemical concepts to lab exercises.
