This course teaches the fundamentals of the Linux operating system. Topics include the Linux file system, file permissions, application installation, command-line interface (CLI), and basic scripting. Students compare and contrast Linux and Windows operating systems. Lab exercises reinforce applications of concepts. CIP: 15.1202
