This course is an introduction to Oral Pathology
Outcomes
- Define and describe basic pathology terms and conditions.
- Differentiate normal from abnormal findings and determine when referral is required.
- Interpret radiographic findings where applicable.
- Describe tooth alterations, periodontal disease, and gingival lesions.
- Identify lesions of the tongue, floor of mouth, lip, and palate.
- Identify white and tobacco-related lesions.
