This course is an introduction to Oral Pathology
Outcomes
  • Define and describe basic pathology terms and conditions.
  • Differentiate normal from abnormal findings and determine when referral is required.
  • Interpret radiographic findings where applicable.
  • Describe tooth alterations, periodontal disease, and gingival lesions.
  • Identify lesions of the tongue, floor of mouth, lip, and palate.
  • Identify white and tobacco-related lesions.
Prerequisites

Completion of all previous quarter's courses with passing grades of 2.0 or higher is required for registration into this course: DNTU 120, DNTU 121, DNTU 123, DNTU 124, DNTU 126, DNTU 127, DNTU 128, DNTU 129 and DNTU 139
