The course is an introduction to the fundamentals of electricity and its application in the diesel and heavy equipment industry. The uses of specialty equipment to troubleshoot and repair are included with emphasis on industry safety requirements and the use of protective devices.

  • Apply safety concepts while using electrical basics to evaluate needed actions.
  • Use industry recognized processes to troubleshoot electrical systems and components
  • Identify electrical system components and their purpose within the system.
