PHYS& 114: Introductory Physics I (Algebra based Physics)

Subject
Physics, Natural Sciences
Credits 5 Lab Hours 40 Lecture Hours 30
Students in this course study the physics of classical systems in terms of Newton's Law of Motion. Topics include motion in on-an multiple dimensions, kinetic energy, momentum, conservation properties of simple systems, rotational dynamics, and friction. The course is designed for students with little to no background in physics. Laboratory activities will be conducted through both online simulations and experiments to be conducted by students.
