Apprentices will follow EPA 608 Universal guidelines to handle refrigerant, and will earn the related EPA certification. They will complete electrical calculations for series and parallel circuits, and demonstrate mathematical competency to size duct materials, control air flow, and properly install equipment. They will continue practicing brazing skills by completing a single and couple joint, flare and swage brazes with dissimiliar metals.
