Intermediate students are introduced to principles and applications of architectural flashings, coping, gutters, downspouts, louvers, metal siding and conductor heads. Tasks involved design, fabrication and installation of these items using SMACNA Architectural Sheet Metal Standards.

- Recognize and explain the uses of common architectural sheet metal components.
- Design, fabricate, and install a scupper and conductor head to SMACNA standards
- Design and fabricate a louver to SMACNA standards
- Fabricate and install a metal coping system with mitered corners to SMACNA standards
