Campus Life & Activities

Student Led Clubs

Student Clubs help facilitate extra-curricular leadership opportunities on and off campus with support from Campus Life and Activities staff and college faculty. Students get the opportunity to connect with others through personal interest and can use S&A fees to create memories through organized leadership. Students oversee creating ideas, managing their budget and executing events throughout student groups.

Clubs are expected to host regular meetings with their members and coordinate with their advisors to grow their passions outside of the classroom. These students help set the image for the community and climate on campus.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)

PTK is a national honor society that offers scholarships, travel and learning opportunities to students with a 3.5 and above grade point average. Students will participate in the chapter’s ‘Honor’s in Action” project with the goal of introducing and maintaining a humanities focused program on campus and present this project at a national conference.

Students will immerse themselves in the curriculum through the analysis of leadership profiles and apply those skills and concepts to various college programs to better serve its student population and surrounding community.

eSports

The applied eSports program helps students find their personal passion through ‘S.M.A.R.T.” goal creation and schedule adherence. This program offers students travel, intercollegiate collaboration and personal growth through self-determination, allowing students to grow through a flexible e-athletic program.

Students are expected to manage classroom expectations alongside attending practice sessions. Students will compete on a national stage to express their achievement and represent the college in the title they choose.
