This course is 60 planned hours and will prepare students for a career in substance use disorder treatment services. It addresses transdisciplinary foundations established by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment’s (CSAT) Addiction Counseling Competencies (TAP 21).
