ART 91: Appreciation of Public Art

Focus on understanding and appreciating public art, past and present. Students trace the heritage of the public art form from cave paintings to modern works in Tacoma. Students address the ideas behind public art and the issues around the vision for public art and the governmental processes by which it is designed, approved, & installed.
