Software Development

Instruction in the Software Development program prepares students to design, code, and implement modern software applications while building a strong foundation in computing systems, networking, and cybersecurity. Students gain experience with industry-relevant programming languages and technologies, including Java, Python, SQL, and web development frameworks.

The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and professional communication, alongside hands-on experience in cloud computing, virtualization, and secure system design.

The program offers a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, where students advance their skills in object-oriented programming, database design, and web application development before progressing into Python programming, neural networks, machine learning, and deep learning. The program culminates in a capstone project that integrates software development, data-driven solutions, and applied AI concepts to solve real-world problems.
